What?
A subsidy is available for some volunteer exchanges. This covers your travel expenses and you receive a small amount of pocket money. At Boskanter, these subsidized volunteers help keep the program free for others.

Belgian program to get to know the other regions and learn languages. At Boskanter, the opportunity to learn Dutch is limited, because we speak English when there are non-Dutch-speaking volunteers, which is usually the case. So there is no ‘immersion’, but you can take the initiative yourself to practice Dutch with the Dutch speakers.
- Conditions: young person (16 to 30) from a French-speaking or German-speaking region, also from Brussels
- Duration: min. 10 days, max. 3 months, max. spread over 6 months; so this can also be a few days a week
- Procedure: The young person submits a project (after consultation with us) and receives an expense allowance, part of which is paid to Boskanter.
- Support: The volunteer receives a daily amount. Part of this goes to Boskanter, in exchange for room and board. The remainder is available for transport, personal projects at Boskanter, or outings.
