Neighborhood volunteers come at fixed times (for example, half a day a week), when there is something to do or when they feel like it.
People who help support the organization are especially welcome. The more of us there are, the more we can achieve. There are still many great projects in the pipeline! You can help by, for example, showing foreign volunteers around the neighborhood, adopting a piece of the garden, writing something for the website, developing a project, …
Practical
During the season, we are at work from Sunday to Thursday. On Sundays, you can join from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On the other days, we schedule the day at 8:30 AM and finish in the early afternoon. If you would like to join, please let us know at info@boskanter.be.
What do you get out of it?
- For local residents, Boskanter is a gateway to the vibrant world of international youth, their enthusiasm, their hunger to share and learn, and the stories they bring back from other cultures and distant lands. Who knows, you might make friendships there, or find a place to stay when you head out on your own.
- Perhaps you don’t want to stand idly by while we make a bit of a mess of things, and you find Boskanter’s approach a meaningful way to do something.
